KAWASAKI ZRX1100/ZRX1200 1997-2007 Front Kit:

Congratulations on purchasing your Axle Armour Front Kit which has been designed to help reduce damage after fitting axle armour to your Kawasaki ZRX1200R motorcycle from impact and abrasion by the road surface in an accident. We have used only the highest quality material to achieve the strength and appearance for your investment deserves. Carefully read the fitting instructions below and check your kit contents before starting installation. If you are unsure or not confident about installing Axle Armour™ yourself, see your mechanic.

Tools Required: 18mm socket and ratchet or tube spanner.
Time to Fit: 10 minutes, includes unpacking and reading instructions.

 

The installation required a 18mm socket or tube spanner to complete the fitment on my Kawasaki ZRX1200R. Important Note:

This is the left hand side of the front wheel, which will be the nut side of the Axle Armour™ for tightening.

Close up of area of fitment, note hollow axle which allows the Axle Armour™ bolt to be passed through from the right hand side of the bike.

Here we are passing the Axle Armour™ right knob and bolt through the hollow axle, make sure that the pin on the rod end is located (aligns) in the small hole (keyway) in the right knob.

The only thing left here to do is add the left hand knob, nylon locking nut and tighten with the 18mm socket.

Remember NOT to overtighten nut!

The fitment is now complete and as you can see does not really distract from the aesthetics of the ZRX1200R, left hand side view.
