ZRX1200R ready for Oggy Knobb  Place jack under engine Tighten jack to lift engine weight off mounting bolts

Put the bike on a maintenance stand, block the front wheel. Get a small block of wood to fit under the engine when using the car jack to support the weight of the motor when undoing the engine mount bolts, work on one side at a time. When using the jack to support the engine, apply pressure to the underside of the motor until the bolts turn easily by hand once loosened.

Remove the bolts and insert the Oggy Knobb mounting plate, insert the two new bolts and washers as supplied, use the original nuts from the engine mount bolts you removed earlier. Make sure that you a decent 12mm ring spanner or socket. The tools supplied by Kawasaki are ineffective, also make sure that you have a 6mm hex key for the left side fitment, your bike tools do not contain a 6mm hex key. Left hand side is now complete.

Remove right hand side engine mounting bolt  Insert Oggy Knobb and bolt into right hand side mount.  Tighten right hand side Oggy Knobb securely
Time to remove the right hand side engine bolt, be careful of the oil line that runs along the frame during the removal and attaching process. You will need a 14mm socket, 75mm extension and rachet/lever to remove the right hand side engine bolts, your bike tools do not contain the appropriate socket or tube spanner to remove the bolt. Replace the engine bolt with the one supplied and securely tighten, job done.
